rebeccaland asked: Hello, I love your blog! I am going to start the fruit detox diet tomorrow, but I have a few questions first.

1. What do you do AFTER the 3 days? Do people usually gain the 4-8 pounds back shortly?

2. Is there any way to make the whey protein + water mix taste less nasty without breaking the diet? The taste honestly makes me want to vomit.

3. I can't stop and eat/drink at 10am, I have outdoor marching band practice from 8-12. Should I double up at 12, or just skip the 10am eating altogether?

4. When they say veggie salad, are we allowed to eat egg whites with it? Because that's on the suggested foods, but it doesn't really say when we can eat them.

answer:

  1. if you go right back into eating unhealthy foods, yes..you will more than likely. i have always kept my losses off due to eating healthy after.
  2. not really. you just have to chug it, plug your nose and have water ready right after. treat it like a shot of vodka.
  3. i would say double up. for sure. don’t skip.
  4. yes, just do NOT salt them. the whole point is to get rid of bloat and sodium is one of the biggest reasons people bloat. but egg whites are protein, so yes. eat them.
